About The Author
Matthias Kuhn is the President and General Manager of John Cipollone Inc. Matthias has been working in the HVAC industry since 2006, but really he started when he was 13, learning and working with his family at John Cipollone Inc. He started as a summer and winter helper through high school and college, working his way to lead installer in 2010.
Since then, Matthias has installed and repaired 1000s of HVAC systems. He has also become an expert when it comes to airflow and duct systems. With this knowledge, he’s been able to design, improve and increase the performance of heating and air conditioning solutions for any style home or business. His focus is not only on the customer side of comfort but on the overall performance of the system.
Matthias holds a bachelor’s degree in the field of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also holds many certifications in the HVAC field, including:

- BPI Certified Building Analyst
- Gastite FlashShield+ & CSST Certification
- TracPipe Counterstrike Certification

Matthias was born in Dresden, Germany, and moved to the US in 1994. Now he lives in Wynnewood with his wife of 5 years and their dog Max. When Matthias isn’t working at the family business, he likes to spend time with his wife Lauren, playing soccer, hiking, or fishing. In the winter, he’s either taking a trip to go snowboarding, or you can find him at Wells Fargo Center rooting on the Sixers!
